Photography is a powerful tool for storytelling, connection, and preservation. "Through Your Lens" is a space dedicated to showcasing the perspectives of our readers; photographers who see the world with depth, passion, and purpose. Each issue, we invite you to submit a collection of images and a brief write-up based on a specific theme. Our goal is to create a dialogue through photography, encouraging both personal reflection and broader conversations about the landscapes, environments, and stories that shape us. Selected submissions will be featured in Issue Two of Gathered Light Magazine.
For the next issue, we invite you to share a place that holds deep personal meaning for you. This could be a landscape that has shaped your perspective, an environment that brings you peace, or a location that inspires your creative work. What makes this place special? What do you think would help preserve it for the future?
Submissions should include 4-6 images and a brief written description (one to two paragraphs) that captures the significance of the place and your connection to it. Submit your written description with a pdf or word doc. Selected submissions will be featured in Issue Two of Gathered Light Magazine.
